Vehicle overturns on Parkway East
A crash occurred early Monday morning on the Parkway East, resulting in a car overturning onto its roof.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes between the Squirrel Hill Tunnel and Edgewood/Swissvale, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.
WTAE reported that no one needed to be taken to the hospital, according to dispatchers.
There was no initial word on what caused the crash.
Dense fog lifts; temps to rise into 80s
Patches of dense fog have lifted, and temperatures are expected to heat up quickly, reaching highs of just over 80 degrees, with sunshine expected.
Humidity will remain high Monday, and showers are expected Wednesday, according to WTAE meteorologist Ashley Dougherty.
Commuters woke up to dense fog in parts of Southwestern Pennsylvania, particularly in Beaver, Lawrence and Butler counties.
2 vehicles reported stolen in Hempfield
State police reported two vehicle thefts in Hempfield that occurred over the past two months.
On May 26, two unidentified suspects stole a vehicle from a U-Haul facility.
Police said the suspects hot-wired the vehicle. It was left abandoned in a parking lot of Twin Lakes Park on Georges Station Road, according to police.
On April 24, a 42-year-old man stole a 1992 Ford pickup, state police said.
Police said the man offered to change the oil of the vehicle and then stole it from a 76-year-old man.
