Political signs targeted by vandals

A home in Lawrence County was vandalized, with suspects spray painting the word “Trump” in the driveway, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Signs on the lawn and porch at the Camden Avenue home were also painted.

The incident, caught on surveillance video, happened at about 1 a.m. Thursday.

It is the second time the home has been targeted during a political cycle. In 2020, thieves took Biden-Harris signs from the lawn.

Police said they are continuing to investigate.


North Strabane police seek robbery suspect

North Strabane police have issued a warning about an armed robbery suspect, saying he is armed and dangerous, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Police said Adam Jeremy Logan, 38, robbed the Coen convenience store on Sunday.

The store is along Hill Church Houston Road.

Police said people should not approach Logan but call 911.


Man shot to death in Homewood identified

A man killed Oct. 4 in Homewood has been identified by authorities.

The victim was Gregory Prince, 38, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Pittsburgh police responded to the 7400 block of Race Street after a 12-round ShotSpotter alert.

They found Prince on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.
