Cranberry man charged in cruise ship assault
A Cranberry man has been charged in federal court with strangling another person while aboard a cruise ship.
A federal grand jury in Pittsburgh indicted Quintin Owens, 27, of Cranberry on assault and interstate domestic violence charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Western Pennsylvania.
According to the indictment, on or about Oct. 11, 2022, on a cruise ship excursion departing from Orlando, Fla., Owens strangled, assaulted, and wounded his intimate and dating partner, also a Western Pa. resident.
The charges carry a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, or both.
13-year-old reported missing
Pittsburgh police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl reported missing on Tuesday.
Police said Aniyah Stackhouse was last seen in the Perrysville neighborhood around 8:30 p.m. wearing a gray hoodie, black shorts and gray Crocs. She is known to frequent the North Side and Beltzhoover areas.
She is described as Black, 5-feet-8-inches tall and 200 pounds, with brown eyes and long braided black hair with green accents.

4 injured in Turnpike crash in Donegal
Three people were transported by medical helicopter following a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike late Monday night.
Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers said police and EMS were called to the westbound lanes of the Turnpike in Donegal, for a single-vehicle crash reported shortly after 10:30 p.m.
Three people were transported from the scene by medical helicopters and a fourth by ambulance, emergency officials said.
Information was not available on the cause of the crash.
