Some Western Pennsylvanians may have felt trembles from a Sunday night earthquake in the Cleveland area, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was reported near Madison, Ohio, not far from Lake Erie, at 10:43 p.m.
Monitors in Avella, Moraine and Keystone state parks and Penn State Dubois all showed weak intensity effects from the 3.6-magnitude earthquake, about 137 miles away from Pittsburgh, according to the agency’s ShakeMap.
Anyone who felt shaking as a result can report it to the agency here. Residents reported feeling the quake in Lawrence and Clarion counties.
There were no reports of damage, according to media outlets in the Cleveland area. Police reported receiving dozens of calls from residents who felt the shaking, according to Cleveland.com.
Traffic camera video from the Ohio Department of Transportation posted on social media showed the camera shaking at the time of the earthquake.
