A Slippery Rock man died of injuries sustained in a two-car crash Friday on Harmony Road that also sent three people to local hospitals, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Police said Charles S. Raisor, 71, was fatally injured when the car he was riding in crossed the center line of Harmony Road just south of Debbie Avenue in Slippery Rock, striking an oncoming vehicle around 5:15 p.m. on Friday.

State police said the car’s driver, Bette M. Zimmers, 38, of Slippery Rock, was driving too fast and lost control while negotiating a curve. Zimmers was transported to the hospital with a suspected serious injury, police said.

Two people in the second car were taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuries.
