Pittsburgh police are asking for the public’s help in their search for a missing city woman who suffers from dementia.

Queenie Kirkland, 89, left her home on Thomas Boulevard at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 117 pounds and has brown eyes and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweater, black-and-white checkered pants, black boots and a black hat.

She walks with a cane and is known to frequent Homewood, according to police.

Anyone with information about Kirkland is asked to contact the city’s special victims unit and missing persons detectives at 412-323-7141.
