Pittsburgh police are asking for help in identifying suspects in a burglary that happened April 9 at the Glass House Apartments along Station Square Drive East.

Police are looking for three men and a woman who are accused of breaking into an apartment during the afternoon, between 12:45 and 3:45 p.m.

The suspects are accused of entering a fifth-floor suite and ransacking the place.

They stole a safe with “a significant amount of cash,” according to police. Also stolen were five firearms, several pieces of jewelry and paperwork.

Security cameras captured footage of two of the suspects rolling an office chair out of the apartment building with the safe on the seat, covered by a blanket.

The men fled on foot toward Carson Street.

Police are combing through footage from security cameras along their route.

Detectives believe they might be cleaners who live or work in the Mount Washington area, according to Cara Cruz, public safety spokesperson.

Anyone with information is asked to call the major crimes burglary unit at 412-323-7155.
