A woman and child were injured in a crash on Ardmore Boulevard in East Pittsburgh on Monday night, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported.

The woman’s car was pulled over on the side of the road.

She was standing outside the car around 7 p.m. and had been trying to fill it with gas. She walked behind when another car came up from behind and crashed into hers, WPXI reported.

The unidentified 28-year-old McKeesport woman was pinned between the two vehicles.

There were two children in her car.

The woman and one of the children were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

The other car was driven by a 70-year-old Jeannette man, who was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police told WPXI.
