Not everyone can afford to fly to Munich to celebrate Oktoberfest.

However, according to the personal finance website WalletHub, Pittsburghers don’t need to travel far to enjoy the history, beer and food that go with the annual German festival.

Pittsburgh is ranked 15th on WalletHub’s newly published list of the best U.S. cities for Oktoberfest celebrations. Philadelphia came in at No. 4.

WalletHub compared the 100 largest American cities across 24 key metrics, ranging from share of German population to number of beer gardens per capita to average price for an Oktoberfest celebration ticket.

Pittsburgh ended up being ranked just ahead of Washington, D.C., which placed 16th. New York was number one followed by Denver in second place.

“To determine the best cities for Oktoberfest celebrations, WalletHub compared the 100 most populated U.S. cities across three key dimensions: 1) Oktoberfest Traditions, 2) Costs and 3) Safety & Accessibility,” WalletHub wrote on its website.

The average estimated cost for an American to attend Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, is $5,000.
