Pittsburgh man, 31, identified as Homewood shooting victim

Pittsburgh police say a 31-year-old man was shot to death at around 2 p.m. Sunday in Homewood in the area of Frankstown and North Homewood avenues.

Officers in Zone 5 responded to a one round Shotspotter alert. Upon arrival, police said they found Allen R. Parker, 31, of Pittsburgh, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
