All lanes of McKnight Road have reopened following a multi-vehicle crash on McKnight Road in McCandless on Tuesday, according to Allegheny County Dispatch.

Police and EMS reported to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash on McKnight Road near Perrymont Road in McCandless that occurred just before 11 a.m., according to Allegheny County Emergency Services.

Both directions of McKnight Road were closed from Duncan Avenue to Peebles Road and police detoured traffic away from the scene for about three hours.

North Hills School District said some of its buses may be delayed this afternoon as a result of the closure.

McCandless Police Chief Ryan Hawk said that the investigation is ongoing and no additional details, including if there were injuries, are available at this time.
