A McCandless man fatally shot early Saturday morning in McCandless was identified Sunday by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
Richard Coward, 39, was reported fatally shot at around 7 a.m. in the 700 block of Nineteen North Drive, the medical examiner said. Coward was pronounced dead at 7:18 a.m.
A suspect was taken into custody at the scene, Allegheny County Police said. The suspect had not been identified as of Sunday afternoon.
McCandless police also were involved in the investigation.
