I-279 traffic restrictions announced for Franklin Park

Lane restrictions on southbound I-279 in Franklin Park will occur Wednesday, Nov. 2 weather permitting, PennDOT announced.

Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur on southbound I-279 at the overhead northbound I-79 bridge from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday as crews from the Joseph B. Fay Co. conduct bridge inspection work.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.
