A man was shot several times in the Hill District early Friday morning, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.
The shooting happened just after midnight at the corner of Webster Avenue and Kirkpatrick Street.
Police said the man was unconscious when they arrived. Officers said they administered first aid to the man until medics arrived. He was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
WPXI reports police said witnesses told them a person wearing dark clothing was seen running from the scene.
Police are investigating.
