The bridge carrying traffic from Rosslyn Road onto the inbound side of the Parkway West remains closed a little less than a week after a truck crashed into its support structure on Feb. 2.

The crash happened about a mile west of Exit 65 on Interstate 376. The bridge on-ramp was closed so crews could inspect the extent of structural damage.

State police initially said the bridge had reopened later on the night of Feb. 2, but PennDOT District 11 spokesman Steve Cowan said it has been closed since the crash.

“Our team is working on a design for repair,” Cowan said. “We anticipate it will be closed for the next few months.”
