Bethel Park police said they are continuing to investigate the stabbing of a man and a woman during a domestic dispute Thursday afternoon. No arrests had been made as of lunchtime on Friday.

The two were involved in a fight in the parking lot of the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Suites along Fort Couch Road around 3 p.m. according to Bethel Park Police Chief Timothy O’Connor.

“Upon arrival we found a male down with serious stab wounds. We found a female with multiple stab wounds,” said O’Connor.

The male stabbing victim was taken to a local trauma center and is still in the hospital, and the woman was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition, according to O’Connor.

O’Connor said there are no other victims and there is no threat to the public.

“Our investigation is ongoing. We hope to be wrapping this up very soon,” he said.
