The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified both people who were discovered last month in Montour Run Creek in Moon Township.

First responders were dispatched to the creek, which is in the area of the Montour Run Trail just after 4 p.m. June 28, where they found a man’s body floating in about 6 feet of water, county police said.

As divers were retrieving the man, they discovered a second man’s body nearby in about 10 feet of water.

The two were identified as Bilson Ramirez, 22, of Pittsburgh, and Alexi Heber Verdugo Lopez, 34. A hometown for Lopez was not listed in a medical examiner’s report. Cause and manner of death were not listed.

County police said preliminary information indicated no signs of foul play.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line at 833-ALL-TIPS (833-255-8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
