Go a little batty on Feb. 15 at Lincoln Caverns in Huntingdon County.

The 14th annual Batfest will feature a day of programs, activities and interpretive tours designed to give visitors a deeper appreciation of these often-misunderstood winged mammals. The day will include bat crafts and games, bat house-building and a pizza lunch.

Visitors also will be able to get an up-close view of Betsy, a brown bat from Centre Wildlife Care in Port Matilda. A Pennsylvania Game Commission biologist will give an update on white-nose syndrome, a fungal disease that has killed millions of North American bats, and a bat habitat project at nearby Indian Caverns.

Advance tickets are required. Blizzard date is Feb. 16.
