To accommodate more vendors and more shoppers, the Pittsburgh Vintage Mixer is moving to a larger venue for its next event.
Dubbed by organizers as the “biggest vintage fair yet,” the Mixer is scheduled for 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 9 at Nova Place, the former Allegheny Center in Pittsburgh’s North Side.
“We are excited to expand our event in this huge, brand new Innovation Space on Pittsburgh’s historic North Side — bringing you even more shopping, more (indoor!) parking, more vintage fashion, more lamps and more vinyl,” organizers say. “With room for double the vintage vendors and 3,000 covered parking spaces, this vintage fair at Nova Place will truly be PGH Vintage Mixer’s version of Mall Madness.”

Since 2012, the semiannual event brings together local collectors and small businesses offering vintage fashion, vinyl, comics, toys, furniture, textiles, ceramics and pottery, mid-century modern wares, lighting, barware, artwork, collectibles and more under the theme “Kitsch! Conversation! Collectibles!”
The hipster flea market was the subject of a 2018 installment of WQED documentarian Rick Sebak’s “Nebby” series exploring various aspects of local history and culture.

Admission to the Nov. 9 Mixer will be $5, or free to children under 12.
