Giant $16M indoor dog park opens in Texas with coffee shop, walking track

One of the biggest indoor dog parks in the world is opening in, of course, Texas.

Dog owners in the Austin area can now bring their furry friends to a climate controlled facility for walking, training and socializing. The $16 million Canine Commons structure has more than 50,000 square feet of space that includes a dog walking track, exercise area and coffee shop.

Memberships start at $49 for a single dog and $69 for multiple dogs and include. Day passes are $18 and $25. Get special treatment with a Founder Series lifetime membership for $10,000.

In addition to Austin, Canine Commons has locations in Omaha, Nebraska; Phoenix, Arizona; and Nashville, Tennessee.
