Musical acoustic singer/songwriting duo The Evergreens of Johnstown will bring their indie folk style sounds to Ligonier Country Market on Aug. 31.
The market is open 8 a.m. to noon Saturday on the Loyalhanna Watershed Farm off Route 30.
Among the special features will be a free craft project for children ages 6 and up from April Kinzler and her business, A.O.K Accents, of Ligonier.
The craft will be a canvas painting of a turtle, Kinzler says.
“It’s one of my more simpler paintings, a sample of what I do when I do (painting) parties,” she says.
Kinzler offers painting projects at private parties and public events, including a monthly holiday Craft and Snack Playdate at the Ligonier Valley YMCA.
She also crafts items like hair bows and door wreaths.
“I take custom orders and also have a section in Paws on Main where I have a line of pet home decor items,” she says.
Also on Saturday, Market Sprouts can meet in the Children’s Garden for a craft project.
