It started with Mayochup.

But Heinz couldn’t leave it there. Kranch, Mayomust, Mayoracha and Mayocue soon followed.

Enough? Nope.

The condiment mashups continue with Wasabioli, Hanch and Tarchup.

Kraft Heinz Canada on Monday announced the launch of these dual-flavored sauces available north of the border. For now, you can get them only in Canada, where Heinz claims they drew the inspiration for the toppings.

Tarchup is a mix of tartar sauce and ketchup and was shared in a late-night tweet ten years ago by a Toronto citizen named Arianne, according to Kraft Heinz.

The wasabi/garlic aioli recipe was apparently inspired by Emma from Toronto, who asked an online wedding forum for help removing the forerunner of Wasabioli from a vintage wedding dress.

Mixing hot sauce and ranch dressing to form Hanch is being credited to a Reddit user who goes by Deep from Vancouver.

The company is describing the products as Heinz Crowdsauced because they reached out to each of these people and included them in the process of getting the mashups into grocery stores across Canada.

“We’ve seen incredible success with innovations such as Mayochup and Mayoracha,” says Daniel Gotlib, associate director, brand building & innovation, Kraft Heinz Canada. “There’s a lot of appetite for Heinz mashups as consumers continue to explore bolder and more unique flavour pairings. Surprisingly, there is a lot of social conversation about condiment mashups and we saw an opportunity to work with our fans in creating mashups that are inspired by them.”

If you don’t feel comfortable mixing two condiments on your own, covid travel restrictions are starting to ease and Pittsburghers can make the run to Toronto in about five hours.
