Sam Hunt’s 2nd album on way, Burgettstown tour stop set

Country singer Sam Hunt will release his sophomore album, “Southside,” on April 3 and hit the road in May, with a planned Southside Summer Tour stop at the S&T Bank Music Park in Burgettstown.

The tour kicks off May 28 in Charlotte, N.C., and Hunt hits the Washington County stage on Aug. 15, along with Kip Moore and Travis Denning.

The Live Nation 40-stop tour wraps in Albuquerque, N.M., in September.

Citi cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets from 10 a.m. Feb. 11 through 10 p.m. Feb. 13 through citientertainment.com

General ticket sales begin at 9 a.m. Feb. 14 at ticketmaster.com.

Hunt’s new album will feature his current Top 5 radio hit, “Kinfolks,” and the ballad “Sinning With You,” according to a release.

His debut album, “Montevallo,” was a triple-platinum seller and nominated for a Grammy Award.
