Puerto Rican rapper Farruko is the headliner for Pittsburgh’s second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival set for Sept. 30 at PPG Paints Arena.
Local Hispanic vendors, live music and dance performances by Latin artists will be part of a festival prior to the Farruko concert.
The concert starts at 8 p.m., with special guest Domino Saints. Vendors that will participate in the festival will be announced at a later date. The festival is free but RSVPs are encouraged.
National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 to October 15, is a tribute to the Hispanic Americans who have positively contributed to the country and embody the American dream.
With the help of local Hispanic organizations, the Pittsburgh festival aims to embrace the Hispanic culture and highlight its diverse community through food, drink, activities, dance, and music, according to organizers.
The inaugural festival in 2022 was held at PNC Park. UC Entertainment is now partnered with the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to expand the scope of the event and involve other local Hispanic vendors.
The festival brings together local Hispanic businesses and organizations, traditional Mexican cuisine and live music and activities, celebrating the vibrant Hispanic culture.
