The already record-breaking “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” film “is going global,” according to AMC Theatres.

AMC said the movie will screen Oct. 13, 2023, in more than 100 countries around the world. Tickets for international shows go on sale today.

The film is already scheduled to play in more than 4,000 movie theaters in the United States, Canada and Mexico including all AMC locations.

“When the film was first announced on August 31, it took less than 24 hours for the … concert film to shatter AMC’s U.S. record for the highest ticket-sales revenue during a single day in AMC’s 103-year history.

“With such overwhelming demand being evident, it became obvious that there should be an immediate worldwide release of the film,” AMC said.

AMC said the film will play at every Odeon Cinema location in Europe.

Swift also shared the news on her Instagram today saying, “The tour isn’t the only thing we’re taking worldwide. Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theaters WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!”

“Additionally, AMC and its sub-distribution partners are taking steps to reach agreements with additional cinema operators throughout the world to play this spectacular Taylor Swift tour-de-force.”

AMC is the world’s biggest theater chain and the film’s official distributor. The film also will play at theaters including Regal and Cinemark, as well as independent locations.

AMC has said it will host at least four showtimes per day Thursdays through Sundays at its theaters and is adding showtimes to increase capacity where needed.

The movie chronicles Swift’s current, record-breaking stadium world tour. The tour has achieved phenomenal status bringing sold-out crowds to venues.

Her every move is documented on social media including her recent appearance in the Kelce family suite at the Kansas City Chiefs football game on Sunday. Swift was seen cheering and dancing, wearing a Chiefs jacket and talking with Donna Kelce, mother of Chiefs player Travis Kelce.

Travis Kelce and Swift were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium after the game and reportedly going to dinner at Prime Social Rooftop in Kansas City. Kelce supposedly bought out the restaurant to celebrate with Swift and the team.
