Lifetime is moving ahead with its previous plans to air a documentary on Nicole Brown Simpson, following the death of her ex-husband, O.J. Simpson.

The cable network — which recently scored strong ratings with its “Where Is Wendy Williams?” documentary — will reportedly broadcast a two-night event titled “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The yet-to-be completed project initially was timed to the 30th anniversary of her brutal 1994 slaying, CNN reported. Brown Simpson’s family and friends are said to be participating in the project, which has yet to be given a release date.

Sources told the outlet discussions are underway about whether to add Simpson’s April 10 death into the film, set to chronicle the life and murder of the former waitress who was married to the football superstar from 1985 to 1992.

Brown met Simpson when she was 18 and working at a Beverly Hills nightclub. Simpson, who was 30 at the time, still was married to his first wife, Marguerite Whitley.

Following their 1979 divorce, Simpson and Brown wed in 1985. Amid their rocky relationship and reported domestic violence incidents, the couple had two children together, Sydney and Justin. Simpson and Brown Simpson divorced in 1992.

Two years later, at 35, Brown Simpson was stabbed to death outside her Brentwood, Calif., home. Her friend, Ron Goldman, who was with her at the time, also was murdered.

In 1995, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of both murders in what many considered to be the “Trial of the Century.”

Two years later, a civil court jury found Simpson liable for their wrongful deaths and ordered him to pay both families $33.5 million.
