Heinz and Barbie lovers in Europe are in luck: a limited edition pink vegan mayo with BBQ sauce was launched to celebrate Barbie’s 65th anniversary.

Mattel and Heinz have unveiled the new Heinz Classic Barbiecue Sauce.

It will be available in the U.K. and Spain initially, and it may be available in elsewhere in the future.

Additionally, 5,000 bottles of the new sauce are available for purchase online, but they’re only able to be shipped to the U.K. and Ireland.

The hype surrounding the iconic Barbie doll continues to span generations.

Though it was released last summer, the Barbie movie still holds the top spot in merchandise sold this year throughout the United States — beating Oppenheimer by more than 1,000%.

Summer 2023 was the summer of Barbenheimer, the online showdown between Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” and Christopher Nolan’s movie “Oppenheimer,” which were both released on July 21.

The cultural phenomenon led many to purchase tickets to both films, with most staying at their local movie theater for a double feature on opening day.

A recent study conducted by clothing brand Chummy Tees analyzed online search volumes for the top 100 highest-grossing movies since January 2023, uncovering the merchandise audiences want to purchase most.

The top 10 movies leading the demand for merchandise in the country by monthly search volume includes:

1. Barbie: 152,053

2. Spider-Man: 93,726

3. Harry Potter: 52,442

4. Batman: 22,404

5. Star Wars: 21,179

6. Godzilla: 15,806

7. Venom: 11,920

8. Oppenheimer: 11,780

9. Jurassic Park: 11,756

10. Joker: 11,325

The study revealed a significant interest in Barbie merchandise compared to other multimillion-dollar franchises.

The movie was the most successful release in Warner Brothers history, and fans dressed in Barbiecore, code for head-to-toe pink, as well as their favorite type of Barbie or Ken dolls.

“Despite securing just one victory out of its eight Oscar nominations, in stark contrast to Oppenheimer’s success with seven wins out of 13, it’s clear that Barbie has won something more significant — a devoted fanbase,” a spokesperson for Chummy Tees said.

Spider-Man, as the runner-up, has still garnered a significant fanbase. The most popular item is a Spider-Man hoodie, which accumulates up to 27,583 monthly searches, the study found.
