Gather your pals and confidants, a “Golden Girls” cruise is sailing in 2020.
Seems Flip Phone Events is throwing a party and inviting everyone they know — and it’s a “Golden Girls” fan’s dream.
The five-night Western Caribbean cruise — aboard the Celebrity Infinity — will set sail from — where else? — Miami. To kick it all off, there will be a Caftan Sail Away Party (with cheesecake!)
Other events on the itinerary will be the Rusty Anchor Karaoke Party, Golden Girls Trivia, Shady Pines Craft Corner, Key West Golden Girls Bar Crawl, a “Golden Girls” costume contest, One Night in St. Olaf Dance Party (which features a game of Ugel and Flugel), and Dorothy’s Bingo.
It launches at 4 p.m. Feb. 24, 2020. From Miami, the party sails to Key West, then Cozumel, then back to Miami.
The show, which aired on NBC from 1985 through 1992, starred Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, Betty White, and Estelle Getty as Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia.
While the cruise is listed on Celebrity’s website for as low as $379, the “Golden Girls” package is only available through Flip Phone’s events site and ranges from $986.69 for an oceanview cabin to $1,181.69 for a deluxe oceanview balcony room.
