Celine Dion has canceled the Pittsburgh stop of her “Courage World Tour,” the singer announced Saturday on her website.

Dion was expected to perform at PPG Paints Arena on April 20.

According to the post, the songstress is dealing with health issues and recovery is taking longer than expected.

Dion has undergone treatment for severe muscle spasms.

“I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing,” Dion wrote.

“There’s a lot of organizing and preparation that goes into our shows, and so we have to make decisions today which will affect the plans two months down the road. I’ll be so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can’t wait to be back on stage again.”

Concert dates in March and April that were to take Dion across the country from Colorado to San Francisco to Washington, D.C. have all been canceled. In all, 16 shows were cut.

Dion previously performed 52 shows on the first leg of the tour, prior to the pandemic and its related shutdowns.

Tickets purchased with a credit card will be refunded automatically.

The singer still plans to launch the European leg of her tour on May 25 in Birmingham, England.
