As the new year begins, Westmoreland County offers a wealth of opportunities to pursue your resolutions or simply enjoy the season’s local offerings.
Whether you are focused on personal growth or seeking meaningful weekend activities, the following community events provide a purposeful start to the year.
Led Zeppelin tribute
Experience the music of one of the greatest rock bands of all time performed live by the acclaimed tribute act Get The Led Out.
Rather than relying on visual gimmicks or fake accents, this group utilizes veteran stage presence and world-class musicianship to bring Zeppelin’s catalog to life. From bombastic hits to acoustic deep cuts, the band’s dedication to the source material ensures a timeless concert experience.
There will be two shows at the Palace Theatre on West Otterman Street in Greensburg this Friday and Saturday, both starting at 8 p.m. To get tickets and learn more about the band’s lineup, visit westmoreland culturaltrust.org.
Salt Room Sound Bath
If your resolution is to stay relaxed and focused as you head into the first full work week of 2026, consider a healing sound bath experience.
Held at Elements Salon and Wellness Spa in Greensburg, this session uses a salt room environment and healing frequencies to refresh your thoughts and calm the mind.
The sound bath takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday at 2000 Tower Way, Suite 2031. Tickets are $55.20. More information can be found at elementsgreensburg.com.
Paint and Sip
Whether you are tapping into your creative side or resolving to spend more quality time with friends, Painting with a Twist offers several wintry-themed sessions this weekend.
Guests are welcome to bring wine, beer and snacks to enjoy during the class. There also is an opportunity to make your own scented candles as an add-on to your artistic experience.
