A Connellsville man was ordered this week to serve nearly two years in jail for recording and possessing a sexually explicit image of a local girl.

Jonathan Adam Dulaney, 30, was convicted by a Westmoreland County jury in May of three felony offenses, including two counts of sexual abuse of children and unlawful contact with a minor. Prosecutors said he secretly recorded a video chat of a partially nude teen in late 2021 and shared the images with others and on social media.

Westmoreland County Common Pleas Court Judge Scott Mears sentenced Dulaney to serve one year, less a day, to two years less a day in the county jail and an additional three years of probation. Dulaney was ordered to complete sex offender treatment and to have no contact with the victim.
