The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed veteran offensive tackle Calvin Anderson to a two-year contract.

Signed three weeks into last season, Anderson served as a reserve “swing” tackle the remainder of 2024 when healthy. His most extensive action with the Steelers was finishing the final 2 ½ quarters of their playoff game as the left tackle. Anderson replaced Dan Moore Jr., who suffered an ankle injury during the first half of the loss at the Baltimore Ravens.

Anderson, 29, has appeared in 50 NFL games with 14 starts over five seasons — including three with the Denver Broncos and one with the New England Patriots. Last year was the first season in which he did not make at least two starts.

The 6-foot-5, 305-pound Anderson is expected to serve as a backup in 2025 to Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu — the projected starters at left and right tackle, respectively.

Anderson spent the final month of this past regular season on the injured reserve list because of a groin ailment.
