Report: 3 dead, 2 injured following possible gas leak in Butler County

Three people are dead and two injured after a reported carbon monoxide leak in Butler.

Butler County emergency officials said Peoples Gas and emergency responders were called to the 100 block of College Street on Tuesday evening, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Officials told WTAE that three people were dead at the scene, and two others were being transported to the hospital. 911 dispatchers said the county coroner has been called to the scene.

City police are investigating.
