State police have an arrest warrant for an Allegheny County woman who is accused of ramming another motorist’s vehicle twice Thursday evening on Route 30 in Greensburg.

The driver told investigators he believed the woman was trying to make him crash, according to court papers.

Troopers charged Alyssa Catherine Cova, 36, of Chalfant, with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and related offenses.

The motorist told police he was traveling east on Route 30 around 8 p.m. when he noticed an SUV driving erratically, almost causing several crashes, according to court papers. At a stoplight at the intersection of Tollgate Hill Road, he told Cova to drive more carefully.

She lobbied obscenities at him and, a couple miles later, rammed his vehicle twice near the Humphrey Road exit, police said. There was white paint transfer and damage to his vehicle.

He followed the SUV to Old Route 30, but lost it and called police. He provided the license plate information and identified Cova as the driver from her driver’s license photo, according to court papers.

She did not have an attorney listed in online court records.
