Detroit Red Wings goaltending prospect Trey Augustine replaced Nedeljkovic and was charged with the loss after making eight saves on nine shots in 35:09 of ice time.

Nedeljkovic appeared in his first game of the tournament after Red Wings goaltender Alex Lyon suffered an undisclosed injury on Saturday.

Penguins defenseman Erik Karlsson had a goal and an assist for Sweden in a 6-1 rout of Germany at Ostravar Arena.
Opening the contest on Sweden’s top pairing, Karlsson also recorded an assist while logging 21:06 of ice time on 22 shifts as well as two shots.
Fellow Penguins defenseman Marcus Pettersson scored the game-winning goal. Stationed on Sweden’s third pairing, Pettersson clocked 14:59 of ice time on 18 shifts and had four shots.

Penguins forwards Valtteri Puustinen and Jesse Puljujarvi were each held without a point for Finland in a 4-1 win against Norway at the O2 Arena in Prague.
Deployed on Finland’s top line, Puustinen logged 18:14 of ice time on 20 shifts and recorded two shots.
Puljujarvi opened the contest on the third line and clocked 14:57 of ice time on 18 shifts and had four shots as well as two penalty minutes.
