USA Today recognized Bellevue’s Lincoln Avenue as one of the nation’s most charming main streets.

“With shady, tree-lined sidewalks, colorful storefronts and friendly restaurants, Lincoln Avenue … is a main street that oozes charm,” the USA Today article says.

It ranks Bellevue’s main street at No. 6 on the list.

The main street was part of the original town plan in 1867 and today hosts community events and festivals, ranging from farmers markets to a Halloween parade.

It’s also home to a number of businesses, including the Lincoln Avenue Brewery.

It was the only Pennsylvania street to make the list, which was released last week.

The No. 1 spot went to Grand River Avenue, the main street in Howell, Mich.
