Multiple state roads in Allegheny County remain closed after flooding, but list dwindling

Heavy rainfall tapered into a drizzle early Saturday morning, but some state roads in Allegheny County remain closed due to flooding as of 1:30 p.m, according to PennDOT:

• 10th Street Bypass between the Fort Duquesne Bridge and Fort Duquesne Boulevard

• Route 8, between Route 130 and Negley Run Road

• I-279 southbound, to eastbound I-376 Interstate Connector

• I-376 westbound, at the Grant Street exit

• Church Hollow Road, between McVicker Lane and Salka Lane

• Verona Road, between Sandy Creek Road and Mt. Carmel Road

• Toms Run Road/Duff Road, between Ohio River Boulevard and upper Duff Road.
