Duquesne woman killed in North Versailles crash

A Duquesne woman has died following a two-vehicle collision Sunday evening in North Versailles.

Emergency services reported to the intersection of Crooked Run Road and 5th Avenue a little after 6 p.m. Allegheny County police said a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Tammy Chonko of Duquesne was struck by a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old man.

Chonko was taken to a nearby hospital where she later died. The man, who police did not identify, was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Allegheny County detectives are investigating.
