The mystery of the stolen Jaromir Jagr bobbleheads remains, but fans have already taken to eBay to try and sell vouchers for the figurines — and they’re pricey.

Last week, 18,500 tiny likenesses of No. 68, complete with hand raised in a salute, had disappeared after being shipped by boat to Los Angeles from China, Kevin Acklin, the Penguins’ president of business operations, said Friday.

They disappeared just two days before they were to be given out during Thursday’s matchup against the San Jose Sharks.

And they’re still missing.

Fans who were supposed to receive the bobbleheads instead received vouchers as a promise that they would eventually get one when the shipment didn’t turn up in time.

Those vouchers are now selling for as much as $350 on eBay. There is an image of the actual doll being sold for over $350 on the site. Upon further examination the description reads: “Sale will be finalized when team provides item through voucher.”

Officials at eBay did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Acklin didn’t divulge the name of the vendor that made the bobbleheads or the freight company transporting them.

Detective Sgt. Clifford Jones of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said Friday night that the team will have to be patient for the shipment to turn up, but it likely will.

Authorities are still keeping an eye out for the missing shipment.

The Penguins retired Jagr’s No. 68 during a pregame ceremony on Feb. 18. The team’s No. 5 overall draft pick in 1990, Jagr spent 11 seasons in Pittsburgh before the Penguins traded him to Washington in 2001.
