A West Deer man was arrested Tuesday after, police said, he secretly video recorded a girl nude in Derry Borough, according to court papers.
Coby C. Jones, 51, is facing charges of child pornography, invasion of privacy and sexual abuse of children filed by Westmoreland County detectives. Jones is formerly of Derry Borough.
Police said a woman reported the situation Jan. 2 after she found videos of the nude girl on Jones’ cellphone. The videos showed Jones hiding the phone in a bathroom, according to court papers.
Jones posted $500 bail Tuesday after his arraignment, according to court records. He did not have an attorney listed in online court records and could not be reached.
A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 7.
