Ross Township commissioners continued to hear interviews from residents for board and commission openings Tuesday night.

Dwayne Allen addressed commissioners about his application for a six-year seat on the township’s Civil Service Commission. Dana Merlino fielded questions about her interest in a five-year seat on the Equal Opportunity Board, and Mary Scafede addressed the commissioners about her interest in a five-year seat on the Zoning Hearing Board.

Interviewees will be appointed to their respective board seats at the next commissioners business meeting on Feb. 20.

After the interviews, commissioners filled seven open seats across six boards and commissions, including the Environmental Advisory Board, Fire Code Appeals Board, Northland Public Library Board, Ross and West View EMS Authority Board, and Ross’ planning commission and vacancy board.
