A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with the 2022 killing of a Clairton teenager.

Daniel Kelly was arrested in connection with the death of Dorian Serrano, who was reported missing in July 2022. Serrano’s remains were found in November of that year near the Montour Trail in Jefferson Hills.

The charges filed against Kelly include criminal homicide, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse.

Police determined Serrano died of a gunshot wound after identifying the remains in February 2023.

Witness interviews pointed to Kelly as the person responsible for the homicide, police said in a statement.

Kelly is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
