Two men were shot outside of a Lowe’s Home Improvement store at The Waterfront shopping complex Friday afternoon, police said.

Allegheny police responded at 1:45 p.m. to the Lowe’s for a report of one person chasing another with a gun in the parking lot.

Officers said they found a firearm on the ground along with blood at the scene. No victims were there, however, police said.

Later Friday, Pittsburgh police were notified of two adult male walk-in gunshot victims at a local hospital. Both victims were determined to be from the Lowe’s incident.

One man is in critical condition, and the other is in stable condition, police said.

Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating.

Anyone with information should call the Allegheny County Police Tip Line 1-833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
