A Bradenville woman missing since Friday evening may have been seen Saturday morning.

Pennsylvania state police troopers say Georgetta Marshall, 63, was possibly seen walking along Mission Road toward Route 30 in Unity Township early Saturday morning.

Troopers were contacted Sunday morning by a carrier for the Tribune-Review who reported having possibly seen Marshall on Saturday at approximately 5 a.m.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, reported having seen a woman fitting Marshall’s description walking along Mission Road in the area of Hemlock Drive in Unity.

She was reported to be walking toward Route 30 and was said to be wearing the same clothing as was initially reported.

The carrier said he saw the person only for a moment, and that it’s not unusual to see people walking in that area. He made the connection after later reading about Marshall and realizing the description of Marshall and what she was wearing matched the person he saw, notably a black hoodie with silver writing on the back.

“It never crossed my mind until the next day. It had to be her,” the carrier said. “I hope they find her.”

Based on the new information, troopers are asking residents and business owners along Mission Road in the area of Hemlock Drive to check any available surveillance camera footage for Marshall and contact 911 with any information.

Police said Marshall is believed to have left her residence on Route 982 in Derry Township on foot and has not returned home. She was last seen Friday evening at about 7:30 and might be without her prescribed medications, according to police.

On Saturday, state police issued a photograph of Marshall, a physical description, a clothing description, and a request for information on her whereabouts.

She is a white, non Hispanic woman who is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 125 pounds with blue eyes and gray shoulder-length hair.

Police said she was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt with the word “pink” in silver lettering on the back. Police said Marshall also wore silver beads on both arms and no shoes.

Officers from the state police Troop A Kiski Valley barracks, along with members of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Bloodhound Team and other agencies are conducting the search.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is asked to immediately contact 911.
