A Ross man is in custody after police said he assaulted a woman Friday morning, pulled a pistol and attempted to shoot her.

No one in the home was hit by the single round that was fired, police said.

Johnathan Price, 34, surrendered to police at the scene and is in the process of being booked and charged with attempted criminal homicide, three counts of recklessly endangering another person, strangulation, aggravated assault, and simple assault, according to Ross police.

Police said officers responded to a 911 call from a home on Bascom Avenue, near the border with Pittsburgh, shortly after 1 a.m., for a reported domestic dispute with a shot fired.

Officers arrived to find that all occupants had fled the home except for the man who was reported to have assaulted a woman.

No one at the home was seriously injured, according to police.
