Wilkinsburg man and woman arrested for Edgewood stabbing

Allegheny County Police have arrested two people allegedly responsible for the March 20 stabbing of a woman in Edgewood.

Chazadee Miller, 24, and Shayron Coleman, 27, face felony and misdemeanor charges for the assault, according to court documents.

At 3:25 a.m. on Sunday, the woman was stabbed in the shoulder near a GetGo station on South Braddock Avenue. A man she was with then fired a shot at Miller and Coleman, who both fled the scene, according to police.

The woman was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. She is expected to survive.

Miller and Coleman, who are both from Wilkinsburg, have been taken to the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh for arraignment.

Miller faces charges for aggravated assault, simple assault and criminal conspiracy, and Coleman is charged with simple assault and criminal conspiracy.
