Pittsburgh police are investigating shots that were fired Friday night at an occupied vehicle in the city’s Bloomfield neighborhood.

No one was injured, but a Toyota Camry was damaged by bullets, police said.

Police said they were called to the scene just after 9:15 p.m. to several ShotSpotter alerts in the 400 block of South Atlantic Avenue. They arrived to find a Toyota Camry that was running and unoccupied with the doors open, according to a report.

Three people who had been inside returned to the scene, police said, and told officers they were traveling behind a Jeep when two unknown males wearing masks began shooting toward their vehicle.

According to police, the driver of the Camry said they backed up to get away, sideswiping a parked vehicle and hitting another before fleeing on foot. The Camry was towed.

There were no arrests as of Saturday morning.
