Penn State’s men’s basketball game scheduled for Wednesday at Ohio State has been postponed due to positive covid-19 tests in the Nittany Lions program.

“Individuals with a positive test have been put into isolation. In addition to isolation, contact tracing procedures have been implemented, which includes quarantine and testing for those individuals who might have been exposed, even if asymptomatic,” Penn State said in a press release on Tuesday.

Both schools are working with the Big Ten to reschedule the matchup for later this season. Penn State’s game with Wisconsin, which was supposed to take place on Jan. 3, was also postponed.

Through seven games this season, the Nittany Lions are 3-4 and have lost all three of their Big Ten matchups. They’ve beaten Virginia Tech, Virginia Commonwealth and Virginia Military Institute. Two of their four losses have come by four points or less.

Penn State’s second matchup of the season with Ohio State is scheduled for Feb. 18 at home.
