The Robert Morris men’s basketball team returns to action Friday night but added a little more competition to the schedule first.
On Friday, the school announced a nonconference road matchup with Marshall. The Colonials (1-0) will take on the Thundering Herd (4-1) on Sunday, at Cam Henderson Center in Huntington, W.Va. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
Marshall started the season with four straight wins before losing to Toledo, 96-87, on Dec. 16. Its scheduled Saturday game with Northern Iowa was canceled, which created an opening to play RMU.
After starting the season with a 75-57 victory over Point Park on Dec. 5, the Colonials return to the court Friday with a nonconference matchup against Bowling Green. They are set to tip off at 6 p.m. at UPMC Events Center.
