Penn State added a third verbal commitment to its class of 2022 when quarterback Beau Pribula of Central York announced on Twitter his intention to enroll.

Pribula (6-foot-2, 202 pounds) has 12 scholarship offers, including Penn State’s Big Ten foes Nebraska, Northwestern and Rutgers, plus Temple, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

Penn State previously received verbal commitments from two four-star juniors, tight end Jerry Cross of Milwaukee and wide receiver Kaden Saunders of Westerville, Ohio. Pribula is unranked by Rivals.

Penn State has 13 verbal commitments from the class of 2021, including 6-foot-4 quarterback Christian Veilleux of Potomac, Md. Those recruits, collectively ranked No. 24 in the nation by Rivals.com, can sign letters of intent in December.
